Background

This poster was created for a fictitious poem, titled 'The 10 miles'. The poem is about a man narrating how life was back in 1970's where he had to walk for miles to go to school, and he would have different encounters everyday during this journey. He talks about how life was simple back in the days with friendly and familiar faces everywhere, found happiness in the simplest things.

Challenge

To create a Swiss style poster aligning with its basic principles, i.e., using minimal graphics, the use of a grid system, asymmetrical layout and sans-serif fonts.
